Voorschoten 2025 Structural Vision “Green, Safe, and Engaged” Adopted
On March 9, the city council adopted the policy statement and the Voorschoten 2025 Structural Vision, titled “Green, Safe, and Engaged.” This new structural vision outlines the broad strokes of the spatial vision for Voorschoten.
Since 2015, we have been working with residents, business owners, and other stakeholders to develop a new structural vision for Voorschoten. Through various meetings, site visits, and written consultations, we have collaborated to establish a shared and widely supported broad-brush spatial vision for Voorschoten. Following a policy document outlining the initial principles for the vision, these were translated into the draft spatial vision titled “Green, Safe, and Engaged.”
The draft Voorschoten Structural Vision was made available for public review in 2016. Twelve comments were submitted. These have been summarized and addressed in the comments report. Where warranted, the draft Voorschoten Structural Vision was amended in this regard.
