Voorschoten 2025 Structural Vision "Green, safe and involved" adopted

On March 9, the Voorschoten Municipal Council ( municipal council ) adopted the statement of views and the Voorschoten 2025 Structural Vision, titled “Green, Safe, and Engaged.” This new structural vision outlines the broad contours of the spatial vision for Voorschoten.

Since 2015, work has been underway on a new structural vision for Voorschoten with the help of residents, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders. Through various meetings, visits, and written consultations, we have collaborated on a shared and supported broad spatial vision for Voorschoten. Following a policy document containing the initial principles for the vision, it was translated into the draft structural vision entitled "Green, safe and involved".

The draft Voorschoten Structural Vision was open for public inspection in 2016. Twelve opinions were submitted. These have been summarized and addressed with a response in the memorandum of opinions. Where appropriate, the draft Voorschoten structural vision has been amended accordingly.

On March 9, the “ municipal council ” adopted the position paper and the structural vision.
