Polling card elections
You need a polling card in order to vote. You will receive your polling card by mail in the week of February 16 to 21.
Have you not received a polling card by February 23? Or have you lost it? Then request a new polling card.
Apply online
You can also request your replacement polling card online. You can do this by logging in with your DigiD and completing the form: Request replacement polling card online.
Apply on the web town hall
Would you prefer to apply for a new voter registration card at town hall? You can do so until Tuesday, March 17, at 12:00 p.m. You do not need to make an appointment.
Bring a valid ID.
Are you moving?
You will receive your voter registration card at the address where you are registered as of February enrolled. If you move to another municipality after that, you can only vote at your old place of residence using your voter registration card.
Requirements
You will receive a voting card if you meet the eligibility requirements ( Requirements ) to vote:
- You are 18 years of age or older on the day of the elections (March 18, 2026).
- On February 2, 2026, you will be working as enrolled for the municipality of Voorschoten.
- You hold Dutch nationality, the nationality of another European Union country, or a valid residence permit and you have legally resided in the Netherlands for at least 5 years.
- You are not excluded from the right to vote.
Preferably submit your application well before March 13. This increases the likelihood that you will receive your new polling card by mail on time.
