Voting in the European Parliament Elections

The Municipal Executive has decided that a decentralized vote count will take place during the European Parliament elections on Thursday, June 6, 2024. This means that on election day, the number of voters and the number of votes per list will be determined at all polling stations, followed by the number of votes per candidate. 

On Friday, June 7, at 9:00 a.m., a meeting of the municipal election board will be held to review the official reports and conduct recounts if necessary. The meeting will take place in the council chamber of City Hall.

The results of the election conducted by the municipal election board willnot be announced on Friday, June 7, 2024, but on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. The announcement will take place in the mayor’s office at Voorschoten City Hall.
