Audit Committee Seeks New Chair

Are you actively involved in the communities of Wassenaar, Voorschoten, Oegstgeest, or Leidschendam-Voorburg? And do you want to make a valuable contribution to local democracy and municipal policy? Then we’re looking for you!

The Audit Committee of Wassenaar, Voorschoten, Oegstgeest, and Leidschendam-Voorburg is seeking a new chairperson, effective September 1, 2025. The position requires a time commitment of approximately 30 hours per month.

What does the Court of Auditors do?

The Court of Audit examines whether the municipal government is implementing policies in an efficient, effective, and lawful manner. This independent audit contributes to transparency, oversight, and improvements within the four municipalities. The Court of Audit consists of four members, a vice chair, and a chair.
