Court of Auditors Seeks New Member
Due to the departure of one of its members, the Wassenaar, Voorschoten, Oegstgeest, and Leidschendam-Voorburg Audit Committee is seeking a new member (approximately 15–20 hours per month).
The Court of Audit consists of five members and a chairperson and is supported by an external secretary. Each member is assigned a “focus municipality.” For the new member, this is Leidschendam-Voorburg.
What does the Court of Auditors do?
The WVOLV Audit Office examines the extent to which municipal administrations have acted efficiently, effectively, and lawfully in implementing policy. In doing so, the Audit Office supports municipal councils and contributes to good local governance. The Audit Office is independent and sets its own audit agenda.
