The Regional Energy Help Desk is an independent energy resource where homeowners can go for free information and advice. Through the help desk—which provides specific information about the municipality of Voorschoten—residents can also submit questions by email or phone. The Regional Energy Help Desk replaces the well-known Sustainable Building Help Desk.

Councilman Hubert Schokker is proud of the new Regional Energy Help Desk, to which the municipality of Voorschoten is contributing financially. “This center makes it easier for homeowners to enjoy a sustainable home with greater comfort and lower energy costs. Above all, it’s important for residents to have access to independent information. But you’ll also find plenty of information about steps you can take, and you can even get a free home energy assessment. I hope many residents will stop by and check it out, just like I did.”
