Living in a vacation home

A vacation home is intended for recreational use. Therefore, you may not live there permanently. If you still wish to do so, you must ask the municipality for permission.

You should ask the municipality if you are allowed to live in your vacation home, trailer, or other recreational residence. In some cases, you’ll need to register with the municipality first.
