Distributing advertising material

In many cases, you can distribute promotional materials—such as flyers, brochures, or samples—without a “ authorisation ” from the municipality. However, the municipality may impose “ Requirements ” on how you are allowed to do so. You should therefore notify the municipality of your plans in advance.

How does it work?

The municipality will make agreements with you regarding the cleanup of litter after the distribution of your promotional material. The municipality will also consider any potential consequences for public order (texts must not be inflammatory).

What to do?

Let the municipality know in advance that you intend to distribute promotional material. Please provide the following information:

  • the reason, date, time, and location of the distribution
  • the type of promotional material
