Procedure for the Sale of the Ambachts- and Baljuwhuis

On November 12, 2020, the Municipal Executive of Voorschoten ( municipal council ) approved the recommendation of the Municipal Executive’s Advisory Committee on Real Estate Transactions ( executive board ) to sell the property at Voorstraat 12 (Ambachts- en Baljuwhuis) through a public au enrolment . This decision was made subject to a number of conditions. The Municipal Council ( executive board ) will make a decision on the sale on September 7, subject to any requests or concerns raised by the council.

The “ executive board ” has taken note of reports that appeared in the media over the past week. In those reports, the potential buyer has already been identified. The “ executive board ” has not yet made an official decision regarding the sale.

Final decision

After the “ municipal council ” has expressed its wishes and concerns, the “ executive board ” will make a final decision on the proposed sale. The purchase agreement will then be signed. The legal transfer of ownership of the commercial property is scheduled for around November 1, 2021.
