Precario tax is payable if you place objects in, on, or above municipal land intended for public service. DENK for example of a terrace, container, advertising sign, or scaffolding.

You also pay precario tax if you wish to display items for sale on the street.

How does it work?

You will find the precario tax on your municipal tax assessment notice. The Gouwe-Rijnland Tax Cooperation (abbreviation: BSGR) handles the levy on behalf of the municipality of Voorschoten.

The amount you pay depends on the type of object, its dimensions, and the period of use. The precario tax ordinance can be found in the government's regulations database.
