Join the conversation about the future of Voorschoten’s churches

The municipality of Voorschoten is organizing a residents’ meeting on Thursday, June 23, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., to discuss the future of churches in Voorschoten. All residents and other interested parties are cordially invited to join the discussion about the preservation and potential new uses of religious buildings in the village.  

Church buildings have been an important focal point in our society for centuries. These buildings are important to many people, but how will their role evolve in the future? The municipality of Voorschoten would like to discuss this with interested residents. During the residents’ meeting, topics such as function, finances, and community support will be addressed. The results will be used to develop a plan for the future of the church buildings in collaboration with church owners and boards.
