Parking counts throughout the municipality
From April 4 through 6, the Trajan research firm conducted parking surveys at various times throughout the municipality of Voorschoten on behalf of the municipality. At the same time, they conducted a survey on the origin and reasons for parking in the center of Voorschoten and the immediate surrounding area.
Update: Due to a technical malfunction with the scanning vehicle, the measurements on Saturday, March 6, were unsuccessful. Therefore, Trajan will conduct a one-time pattern measurement this coming Saturday, April 13.
Based on the length of time a vehicle is parked, for example, an assessment is made as to whether a driver works in the city center, is just running errands, or lives there.
No privacy-sensitive data was requested
For this study, it is necessary to scan license plates. No privacy-sensitive data will be collected, and the license plate data will be destroyed upon completion. For both studies, identifiable field workers and a scanning vehicle will be deployed.
