Voorschoten Parking Policy 2024

New Parking Policy

On July 4, 2024, the city council unanimously adopted the new parking policy. This policy explains how the city addresses parking and parking-related issues. In November 2024, the document was updated to include a greater focus on revised parking standards, more detailed housing categories, and new guidelines for electric vehicle charging stations.

In March 2025, the policy was revised again, with an updated section on bicycle parking. This section includes, among other things, new guidelines for the number of bicycle parking spaces at various types of buildings and facilities.
