Roadwork Resumes on Voorschoterweg N447
The province of South Holland will complete the paving of the Voorschoterweg (N447) between Voorschoten and Leiden during the night from Friday, September 5, at 8:00 p.m. to Saturday, September 6, at 6:00 a.m. Last week, the asphalt layer could not be laid due to a broken asphalt mixer.
From where to where does the fence run?
The closure applies between the intersection with Leidseweg in Voorschoten and Churchilllaan in Leiden. Hofweg will be inaccessible during the construction work. The road will remain open as usual during the day.
When is the road closed?
Traffic will not be able to use the N447 from 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, until 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6. The road will remain open as usual during the day.
Detour and Advice
Yellow signs at the site are redirecting traffic. The detour runs via: Bachlaan > Van Beethovenlaan > Trompweg > Haagweg > Churchilllaan. Please allow for extra travel time.
