Reusing Public Information (WHO Request)

If you wish to reuse information that is already in the public domain (for example, for an article, thesis, or on your own website), you should submit a Who request rather than a Woo request. Who stands for the Government Information Reuse Act.

What should I do?

 Always include the following in your request:

  • that this is a WHO request;
  • what information you want to reuse and for how long;
  • how you would like to receive the information;
  • your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address).

How long does it take?

You will receive a response to your request within 4 weeks. The municipality may extend this period by 2 weeks.
