Want to keep enjoying cycling? Come to the Doortrappen Bike Festival on July 3

What could be more fun than going for a bike ride, whether on your own or with others? At the Doortrappen Bike Festival, seniors will find everything they need to keep cycling with joy and confidence. You’re warmly welcome between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Weddeloop 1 in Voorschoten. Admission is free. 

There's plenty to do

Test your agility on the bike course. Team up with your grandparent(s) or grandchild(ren) to compete against another team in the bike quiz. Take your bike to the bike shop for a checkup. And sign up for one of the helpful workshops—on safe e-bike riding, for example. Of course, the afternoon is also all about having fun. Because biking should be—and stay—fun above all else!

A fun afternoon for all ages!

The Doortrappen Bike Festival is intended for grandparents (65+) and their grandchildren, but you’re also welcome to bring along an older neighbor, uncle, aunt, or other acquaintance. People of all ages are welcome to enjoy a fun afternoon. Anyone who visits at least 6 of the activities with their grandchild(ren) gets a bingo and can enter the drawing for free tickets to Museum Boerhaave with a full bingo card!
