Business owners in Voorschoten can apply for vouchers to support digitization
"Let Digitization Work for You," a project by Economie071, is launching a new round of its digitization voucher program. Business owners can receive up to €5,000 back on their investment. Starting October 9 at 12:00 p.m., business owners in Voorschoten and other municipalities in the Leiden region can submit an application, but it’s a good idea to start preparing it now.
The voucher program is a financial incentive that helps businesses digitize their operations. The voucher can be used for a wide range of digitization projects. Depending on the size of the business, an entrepreneur can receive €1,000, €2,500, or €5,000. In all cases, the entrepreneur must cover at least 25% of the costs themselves.
Digitization is never complete
“Improving your website, launching an online store, digitizing pay stubs, optimizing data security, using artificial intelligence, developing an app—digitization is a never-ending process,” says Paul de Bruijn, CEO of Alderman . “As an entrepreneur, you’re constantly working on it. So it also costs you money all the time. That’s why I’m glad that Economie071 is making these vouchers available. I wholeheartedly encourage entrepreneurs in Voorschoten to take advantage of them. That way, you can continue to run your business safely, quickly, and enjoyably.”
How do I apply?
Companies that are enrolled in one of the participating municipalities and employ up to 50 full-time equivalents (FTEs) may submit an application. They can apply starting October 9 at 12:00 p.m. using the form on the website www.digitaliseringwerkt.nl. Applications will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. In principle, the review will take place within ten business days.
The application itself takes only a few minutes, but some preparation is necessary. That is why business owners are encouraged to take action now and prepare their application. Three coaches are available to assist with this. You can also schedule an appointment through the website.
