Maintenance Work on the Bike Lanes on Karel Doormanlaan, Generaal Spoorlaan, and Rouboslaan

The municipality of Voorschoten will begin replacing the asphalt on various bike lanes on Monday, September 12, at 7:00 a.m. This involves the bike lanes on Karel Doormanlaan, Generaal Spoorlaan, and Rouboslaan. The work is expected to be completed on September 12 at 4:00 p.m.
In addition, on Monday, September 12, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the asphalt on the walking path in Burgemeester Berkhoutpark will be repaired. Bad weather may cause the work to take longer than expected.

Accessibility

The bike and walking paths will be difficult to navigate during the construction work. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct traffic. Residents living near Karel Doormanlaan, Generaal Spoorlaan, and Rouboslaan are advised to park their cars elsewhere during working hours.

Nuisance

While the asphalt is being replaced, you may experience some inconvenience, such as noise and difficulty accessing homes on Karel Doormanlaan, Generaal Spoorlaan, and Rouboslaan. The municipality is working with the contractor to minimize this inconvenience as much as possible.
