Independent Client Support and Confidential Advisor

Do you need help arranging Health, support, or youth services? If so, you can get help from an independent client advocate or a trusted advisor.

A client support worker helps you arrange Health and support. A trusted advisor is there to help if you have questions, concerns, or complaints about the youth services you or your child is receiving.

Independent client support

An independent client advocate provides free information, advice, and assistance. The client advocate does not work for the municipality or a healthcare provider. This means you receive independent advice.

When can a client support specialist help?

A client support worker can help you if you:

  • want to know what kind of help is available;
  • needs help with an application;
  • want to prepare for a conversation;
  • want someone to come with me to an interview;
  • needs help making decisions;
  • has questions about Health or needs support.

Who is eligible for client support?

All residents of Voorschoten can access independent client support. This also applies to informal caregivers.

Youth Services Confidential Advisor

Are you or your child involved with youth services? If so, you can contact a Jeugdstem counselor.

A confidential advisor will listen to your story. The confidential advisor will also provide information about your rights. Do you have questions, concerns, or a complaint about youth services? If so, the confidential advisor can advise and assist you. The assistance provided by a confidential advisor is free and confidential.

Who is the confidential advisor for?

The confidential advisor is there to:

  • children and adolescents receiving youth services;
  • parents and guardians;
  • foster parents;
  • young people in a youth care facility, group home, or foster family.
