New Round of Vouchers for Digitalization Among Small and Medium-Sized Business Owners
"Let Digitization Work for You" is launching a new round of vouchers on October 6. This program is specifically designed to support small and medium-sized businesses in the municipalities of Katwijk, Leiden, Leiderdorp, Voorschoten, and Zoeterwoude in their digitization efforts. Business owners can receive up to €5,000 back on their investment.

The voucher program is a financial incentive that helps companies digitize their operations. The voucher can be used for a wide range of digitization projects, from digital marketing—such as improving a website or online store—to cybersecurity.
Contribution of €1,000, €2,500, or €5,000
Depending on the size of the business, an entrepreneur can receive €1,000, €2,500, or €5,000. In all cases, the entrepreneur must cover at least 25% of the costs themselves. The remaining costs are covered by the participating municipalities, supplemented by a grant from the province of South Holland.
Be sure to request the voucher in time
Starting Monday, October 6, you can easily apply for the voucher via the website digitaliseringwerkt.nl. A quote from a supplier is required when applying, so be sure to request one in advance. You can also find more information on the website mentioned above.
Possibly the last chance
"Make Digitalization Work for You" is a project of Economie071, the economic partnership in the Leiden region. This partnership has been expanded and will operate under the name Key Region Leiden starting in July 2025. Strengthening entrepreneurship remains a key pillar of this initiative. As a result, plans are being considered to continue the voucher program in 2026. However, this is not yet certain. So be sure to take advantage of this opportunity before it’s too late.
