An application for a monument subsidy based on the monument subsidy scheme can be submitted throughout the entire year.
You can apply for a subsidy for the maintenance or restoration of your monument. Are you the owner of a municipal monument? Then you can apply for a subsidy or financial contribution from the municipality.
How does it work?

What to do?
- It is a good idea to read the Voorschoten Monuments Grant Program before submitting your application;
- In addition, it is important to carefully review the “Guidelines on Eligible Conservation Costs” published by the Dutch Nature Conservation Agency ( Rijksoverheid ), as this document is relevant to the topic. - Print out the monument application form, fill it out, and scan it into a digital document so that you can attach it to the online form.
- The form consists of approximately a few short questions, which will guide you step by step regarding the subsidy you are applying for.
- This form will restart from the beginning after 15 minutes of inactivity. Health Please make sure you have all the information ready in digital form.
What do I need?
Any attachments to be included:
- Quotation for drawing up an inspection report, sustainability report or repurposing report (and, if necessary, additional documents with a description or substantiation);
- Monumentenwacht architectural inspection report;
- Drawings (floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, existing and new details)
- An overview of the nature and scope of the intended work and a description of the results intended thereby, preferably aligning with the Guideline for the maintenance of subsidisable maintenance costs. The Guideline is based on the same coding as the STABU.
- A specified budget of costs, preferably also aligning with the Guideline for the maintenance of subsidisable maintenance costs. The Guideline is based on the same coding as the STABU.
