What should I do?

  • It is a good idea to read the Voorschoten Monuments Grant Program before submitting your application;
  • In addition, it is important to carefully review the Dutch government’s Guidelines on Eligible Conservation Costs, as a connection is made to these guidelines. These guidelines can be found, among other places, at: https://wetten.overheid.nl/BWBR0032075/2019-01-05
  • Print out the historic landmark application form, fill it out, and scan it to create a digital document so you can attach it to the online form.
  • The form consists of a number of short questions, which guide you step by step through the process of applying for the grant.
  • This form will restart from the beginning after 15 minutes of inactivity. Therefore, please make sure you have all the information ready in digital form.

What do I need?

Any attachments to be included:

  • Quote for the preparation of an inspection report, sustainability report, or repurposing report (and, if necessary, additional documents, including descriptions or supporting information);
  • Monumentenwacht Structural Inspection Report;
  • Drawings (floor plans, elevations, cross-sections, details of existing and new elements)
  • An overview of the nature and scope of the proposed work and a description of the intended results, preferably aligned with the Guidelines for Eligible Conservation Costs. The Guidelines are based on the same coding system as STABU.
  • A detailed cost estimate, preferably one that also aligns with the Guidelines for Eligible Conservation Costs. The Guidelines are based on the same coding system as STABU.
