Come pick up some free compost

On Saturday, March 29, the municipality of Voorschoten will participate in National Compost Day. On that day, you can pick up free compost as a thank-you for separating your vegetable, fruit, and garden waste (VFG) and food scraps.

On Saturday, March 29, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., you can pick up free compost at the municipal depot at Koninklijke Marinelaan 21. Bags containing 20 liters of compost will be distributed there.

You will receive a maximum of 3 bags per person.

Good for the garden

Compost is a type of fertilizer made from organic waste. By sorting your waste properly, the waste management company can turn it into compost. This compost is good for the garden and helps plants grow better.
