File a Complaint

In Writing
A complaint may be filed in writing. You may address your complaint to an administrative body of the municipality of Voorschoten. In most cases , this is the “ executive board ” (Office of the Mayor and Aldermen) (postbus 393, 2250 AJ Voorschoten).

Your complaint must state:

• that it concerns a complaint;
• what the complaint is about;
• why you are submitting a complaint;
• your contact details (name, address, telephone number, email address);
• and sign your letter with your signature.

Digital
You can submit your complaint via the digital submission form.   

Orally
You can submit your complaint orally. For more information about submitting a complaint orally, you can contact the complaints coordinator. You can reach the complaints coordinator via telephone number 14071.

Handling of complaints
The manner in which the municipality must handle complaints is regulated in Chapter 9 of the General Administrative Law Act (Awb).

• The municipality will handle your complaint within 6 weeks.
• If you do not agree with the municipality's response, you can ask an independent organisation for a ruling. For example, the National Ombudsman.
