File a Complaint

In writing
A complaint may be filed in writing. You can address your complaint to an administrative body of the municipality of Voorschoten. In most cases , this is the Municipal Executive (P.O. Box 393, 2250 AJ Voorschoten).

Your complaint must include the following:

• that this is a complaint;
• what the complaint is about;
• why you are filing a complaint;
• your contact information (name, address, phone number, email address);
• and sign your letter with your signature.

Submitting a Complaint in Person
You can submit your complaint in person. For more information about submitting a complaint in person, please contact the complaints coordinator. You can reach the complaints coordinator by calling 14071.

’s Complaint Handling Procedures The manner in which the municipality must handle complaints is governed by Chapter 9 of the General Administrative Law Act (Awb). 

• The municipality will process your complaint within 6 weeks.
• If you disagree with the municipality’s response, you can request a ruling from an independent organization. For example, the National Ombudsman.
