Children's City Council Meeting on September 10 Has Been Canceled
The two play sessions organized by the Children’s City Council on Saturday, September 10, have been canceled. Despite the city’s efforts to get children excited about these sessions, not enough children signed up. This is, of course, a shame for the few children who did sign up.
Early next year, the city council will organize—once again for the first time since the pandemic—the game “Democracity” in collaboration with Prodemos. Children in grades 7 and 8 will visit City Hall with their classes and work together to build a fictional city, experiencing what it’s like to be a city council member. Teachers at the schools will receive an invitation for this event.
