Cadastral information

You can request the following cadastral information from the Land Registry:

• cadastral report
• mortgage report
• Cadastral extract Map with map of the surrounding area
• purchase and sale prices of homes in your neighbourhood
• property report

• You can request the information from the Land Registry.
• If you are unsure about the area of a parcel of land or about the boundary between your property and that of your neighbours, you can ask the Land Registry to mark the boundaries on your property. Request a cadastral Map through the Land Registry.
• Via Ruimtelijkeplannen.NL you can view the plans that were initiated before January 1, 2024, in accordance with the Spatial Planning Act (Wro).
• Plans submitted after January 1, 2024, can be found under the “Rules” section on the Map of the new Environmental Services Portal.

The municipality, the Land Registry, and other private and government agencies are responsible for land surveys. The Land Registry’s survey is decisive in determining the area of a parcel. The municipality (or the Land Registry, acting on behalf of the municipality) also surveys the so-called underground infrastructure, such as cables and pipes, and records this information on a land survey map ( Map).

Surveying data is topographic data. This includes, for example, data on the elevation and area of land or buildings, as well as data from measurements of trees, cables, pipes, and property lines. The municipality uses this data to create the “ environmental plan.”
