Youth Delinquency

Youth nuisance remains an area of focus in Voorschoten. The number of reports of youth nuisance in Voorschoten has been relatively stable for years, but remains on the high side compared to other municipalities. As the coordinating body, the municipality aims to reduce youth nuisance and identify potential problem youths at an early stage. The police and the Youth and Youth Work Foundation are key core partners in this effort.

How can you help?

To achieve this goal, the municipality also needs residents as partners. When youth nuisance escalates and manifests as intimidation, threats, and/or other forms of bad behaviour towards you, you can speak with the community police officer and/or the Youth and Youth Work Foundation. You can also make a report.
