Youth Health

The municipality is responsible for youth health care. This includes “ healthcare ” for all children between the ages of 0 and 19. You and your child will receive an invitation to visit a health clinic or your child’s school.

How does it work?

The municipality offers support with, among other things, the care, upbringing, and development of your child. This may include, for example:

  • information and advice
  • monitoring your child's growth, health, and lifestyle
  • parenting courses or special training programmes
  • vaccinations for young children
  • heel prick

DE municipality collaborates with other organisations for this purpose.
