Comprehensive Safety Policy
To determine priorities within its scope of responsibilities, the Municipal Executive ( municipal council ) adopts the Comprehensive Safety Policy. The Comprehensive Safety Policy (IVB) outlines the general ambitions, priorities, and objectives in the area of safety for the 2019–2022 period.
For the implementation of the IVB, the municipality uses Direction, Connection, and Personal Responsibility as its starting points. The municipality directs the security policy and is responsible for establishing and safeguarding chain cooperation. Because security concerns all of us and encompasses many themes, the municipality joins forces with various partners to ensure that residents feel safe in their environment. Important partners with whom the municipality implements the IVB include the police, the Youth and Youth Work Foundation, the residents, and the Public Prosecution Service.
