Open House: A Look Back at Public Participation in the Voorschoten 2040 Environmental Vision
The Municipality of Voorschoten is organizing a drop-in meeting on Thursday, October 3, regarding the Voorschoten 2040 Environmental Vision. Municipal staff will discuss the results of the public participation process that took place this year. All residents are warmly welcome to attend this event. The open house will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Situs Building, located at Leidseweg 29.
Last spring and summer, municipal staff spoke with residents at various locations throughout the village to hear their ideas about the future of Voorschoten. Many people also filled out a survey. The Environmental Vision addresses the question of what we need to do to ensure that Voorschoten remains a pleasant village in the long term—a place where everyone can enjoy living, working, and spending their free time.
During the open house, the municipality of Voorschoten will share the results of the discussions and the survey. Staff members are also eager to talk with visitors about (potential) future plans, challenges, and ambitions.
