Information Session for Party Executive Committees on the 2026 Municipal Elections
The municipal elections will be held on March 18, 2026. Preparations are already in full swing at both the municipal level and within party leaderships. Mayor Stemerdink is asking party leaderships to pay specific attention to the issue of integrity. Party leaderships are therefore cordially invited to an informational meeting about the upcoming elections and everything involved.
During the informational meeting, board members will learn about the steps they need to take to ensure their party can participate in the elections. One aspect of this is compiling the list of candidates. What can the board do to attract the right people? How do they broach the topics of integrity and resilience? During the meeting, the boards will be given tools to help them discuss these issues with candidates.
All party executive committees are welcome
All party leaderships in Voorschoten are welcome to attend this meeting, even if their party is not currently represented on the council. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 8, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., in the council chamber of City Hall at Leidseweg 25.
