Information Session for Owners and Tenants of Buildings with Large Roofs

On Tuesday, February 11, the Municipality of Voorschoten is organizing an informational meeting specifically for owners or tenants of properties with large roofs (more than 70). During this meeting, interested parties will learn how they can make the best use of their roofs for solar energy in the face of grid congestion and changing regulations.

The event will take place at the Bondsgebouw, located at Leidseweg 100 in Voorschoten. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the program begins at 8:00 p.m.

What can you expect?

Several speakers will take the stage during the evening. For example, a representative from grid operator Liander will discuss in detail the consequences of grid congestion and how its impact can be mitigated. A business owner from the Antoniapolder business park will share his experience with energy hubs and how collaboration among property owners yields benefits. And an external consultant from Stantec will discuss, during a one-on-one consultation, options for an assessment based on consumption data and the specific situation. In addition, there will, of course, be plenty of opportunity to ask questions about grid congestion, solar panels on large roofs, and energy hubs.
