Rent assistance, subsidy

Effective January 1, 2027, a Public Interest Decision will apply to the leasing of certain municipal buildings. Until that date, the Voorschoten Rent Compensation Subsidy Program will remain in effect. You can read more about this on this page.

What stays the same?

Some municipal buildings are still being leased at a lower rental rate. The purpose of this remains the same.

What's changing?

As of January 1, 2027, it will no longer be necessary to apply for rent compensation. The reduced rent will be calculated automatically starting January 1, 2027. This is stipulated in the new Public Interest Decree.

The tenants affected by this change have been notified individually.
