Rent assistance, subsidy
An application for a rent compensation grant under the rent compensation grant program must be submitted between November 1 and December 31 of the year preceding the grant year.
A subsidy may be available to offset rent increases resulting from the introduction of cost-based rents for municipal properties effective January 1, 2020.
The municipality receives applications for grants. The municipality has a policy, an ordinance, and regulations in place to evaluate these applications. In this way, the municipality aims to make it clear to everyone what criteria an application must meet to be eligible for a grant.
How does it work?

- This process guides the applicant step by step through a series of questions designed to provide sufficient information for the application.
- When submitting the application, you will need the following information: your address and bank account number.
- You do not need to enter the amount for the new rent.
- It takes about 10 minutes to fill out the application.
