Assistance with a labour disability

If you have a physical, intellectual, or psychological disability, you may need additional guidance or adjustments in order to work. This is known as 'sheltered employment'. The municipality can help you find sheltered employment.

• You apply to the municipality for a sheltered workplace.
• Together with the municipality, you will look into what the best solution is. If this indeed shows that sheltered employment is the best solution, the municipality will request an assessment from the UWV.
• If the UWV provides a positive assessment, the municipality will work with you to find a suitable workplace.
