Apply for or change house number
The municipality must assign a number to every building. If you have purchased or rented a newly built house and do not know your house number, you can request it from the municipality. You must also do this if you need an additional house number because you are subdividing your property.
What to do?
The assignment of a new house number is subject to the laws and regulations of the Addresses and Buildings Base Registry (BAG). You can find more information about this on the following page of the Cadastre: https://zakelijk.kadaster.nl/basisregistratie-adressen-en-gebouwen.
