Commemoration of the Haagsche Schouw

General Information
Every year on May 4, a memorial service is held at the Military War Memorial on Haagsche Schouwweg to honor the 51 young soldiers who fell during the Battle of the Residency. The mayors of Voorschoten, Katwijk, Oegstgeest, and Leiden each lay a wreath at the monument.
