National Remembrance Day, May 4, 2023

Mayor Nadine Stemerdink, together with two children from De Regenboog Elementary School, laid a wreath at the monument on Koningin Julianalaan this evening. Students from De Regenboog recited poems they had written themselves. Other guests also laid wreaths. They were assisted by members of the Kimball O’Hara Scouting Association and the Maurits Group. Throughout the commemoration, veterans formed a guard of honor next to the monument.
