Fence at Ter Wadding Removed
Following friendly discussions, the owner of the Ter Wadding country estate has reached an agreement with the municipality regarding the removal of the fence on the estate.

The Ter Wadding country estate consists, among other things, of a country house and a historic park. In 2016, the owner installed a fence around the house. Because the fence detracted from the estate’s historic value and thus violated the zoning plan, the municipality was required to deny the environmental permit. After various legal proceedings, the owner and the municipality reached an agreement on the removal of the fence.
Temporary fence
Instead of the fence, the owner will plant a continuous hedge near the country house to serve as a high-quality green barrier designed to ensure the privacy of the residents of Ter Wadding Country House. To ensure privacy in the meantime, a temporary fence will be installed during the week of November 24.
