Enforcement Regarding RVs and Trailers in Voorschoten
The Municipality of Voorschoten is enforcing regulations against motorhomes, caravans, and trailers that have been parked for extended periods on public roads along Van Beethovenlaan and Admiraal de Ruytersingel near the sports fields. Owners have until Wednesday, July 8, to remove their vehicles. On Thursday, July 9, any vehicles still there will be towed away.
The enforcement action follows reports from residents regarding disturbances. During a recent inspection, it was determined that vehicles are frequently parked for extended periods at these locations.
According to Article 5:6 of the General Local Ordinance (APV), it is not permitted to leave motorhomes, caravans, and trailers on public roads for more than three days.
All vehicles at these locations have been tagged with a notice. Where the owner is known to the municipality, those owners have also been notified in writing. Do you have a vehicle parked at one of these locations? If so, please make sure to remove it by July 8 at the latest.
