Enforcement Regarding RVs and Trailers in Voorschoten
The Municipality of Voorschoten is enforcing regulations against campers, caravans, and trailers that are parked for long periods on public roads on Van Beethovenlaan and Admiraal de Ruytersingel near the sports fields. Owners have until Wednesday, July 8 to remove their vehicle. On Thursday, July 9, remaining vehicles will be towed away.
The enforcement follows reports of nuisance from residents. During a recent inspection, it was determined that vehicles are frequently parked at these locations for extended periods.
According to Article 5:6 of the General Local Ordinance (APV), it is not permitted to leave campers, caravans, and trailers on public roads for more than three days.
All vehicles at these locations have been tagged with a notice. Where the owner is known to the municipality, those owners have also been notified in writing. Do you have a vehicle parked at one of these locations? Health Please be sure to remove it by July 8 at the latest.
