Major Maintenance at Hooghkamerpark in Leiden
The City of Leiden will be carrying out major maintenance on Hooghkamerpark, the park near the bridge of the same name across the Korte Vliet. Residents of Voorschoten who occasionally visit the park are also welcome to share their ideas about the plans.
This fall, the City of Leiden will begin work on the design for the renovated park. Key areas of focus include improving biodiversity and ecology, enhancing water quality in the waterways, and creating a more natural transition between the two sections of the park on either side of Brahmslaan.
Meeting
The municipality is interested in hearing the wishes of the park’s users so that it can take them into account. The first meeting to discuss these wishes will take place on Wednesday, September 11, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the picnic bench on Korte Vlietpad. Residents of both Leiden and Voorschoten are welcome to attend.
