Bulky garden waste is pruning and garden waste that you cannot cut with prunings shears. For example, a tree stump or thick branches.

Coarse yard waste can be reused effectively, for example, shredded and spread on park paths or used as litter for cat boxes.

Rules for Disposing of Bulky Yard Waste

  1. You can make an appointment online with the municipality for the collection of bulky garden waste. 
  2. The total volume of bulky yard waste must not exceed 1 cubic metre: 1 metre wide, 1 metre high, 1 metre long.
  3. Tie up the bulky yard waste as much as possible. Please bring your branches in bundles weighing no more than 20 kilograms each.
  4. Please place the branches on the public road around 7:30 a.m. on the agreed-upon day. 
  5. Place large garden waste in front of your house (not on your own property) on the main road, such as in a parking lot. Health Make sure it is placed freely by the roadside—for example, not against a tree or a lamppost.
  6. Bulky yard waste is collected between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. You do not need to stay home for this.
