Municipal Clerk

Mr. Erik van Wattingen is the municipal clerk of the municipality of Voorschoten. As the chief advisor to the municipal executive ( executive board), the municipal secretary attends the meetings of the mayor and aldermen. He ensures the successful implementation of policy and encourages innovation. The secretary translates political ambitions into actionable plans. He serves as the link between what the administration wants and what the civil service can deliver.
