Municipal Policy on " Health , and Zekerheid"
Residents with lower incomes can enroll in a special health insurance plan through the municipality—the municipal health insurance plan. On January 1, 2024, the municipality will switch from Menzis to Health and Zekerheid. This is important news for residents who are already enrolled in the municipal health insurance plan, as well as for those who are not yet enrolled.

The main advantage of the municipal health insurance plan is that you are well-covered if you need Health . You receive comprehensive coverage for dental care, physical therapy, orthodontics, and eyeglasses. You also receive a discount on supplemental insurance, and the municipality pays a portion of the premium.
