The countdown has begun! The Municipality of Voorschoten wishes you a safe and enjoyable New Year’s Eve. “Make it a warm, pleasant evening,” says Mayor Nadine Stemerdink. “Get together with friends and family, enjoy oliebollen and apple turnovers, and be careful with fireworks.”
New Year’s Eve is a time for traditions such as the New Year’s Eve comedy show and colorful fireworks. But it’s also a time to look back on the past year and make plans for 2025. Mayor Stemerdink: “What has 2024 brought you? Who are you thinking of during these special hours? Let’s enjoy this evening together in a cheerful, peaceful, and safe manner, so that emergency services, special enforcement officers, and our municipal field staff can also have a pleasant New Year’s Eve. After all, they’re there for us day and night. On behalf of the municipal council, I wish everyone a wonderful New Year’s Eve!”
