The Municipality of Voorschoten wishes you a happy New Year
The countdown has begun. Municipality of Voorschoten wishes you a happy New Year's Eve. “Seek each other out, be careful with fireworks, and above all, make it a cosy evening,” says Mayor Nadine Stemerdink.

New Year's Eve is traditionally an evening with Dutch doughnuts (oliebollen and appelflappen), the New Year's Eve cabaret show, and colourful fireworks. Mayor Stemerdink: “It is also a moment to look back on what the past year has meant to you personally and to look ahead to the new year. Also give the police, fire department, ambulance, and municipal enforcement officers (boa's), who are there for us day and night, the space to experience a pleasant New Year's Eve. This way we can start fresh in 2026 together.”
