Municipality revises rules regarding access roads in environmental plan

The Municipality of Voorschoten is working on an amendment to the " environmental plan." The amendment applies to the entire municipality of Voorschoten and concerns the rules regarding access points—that is, connections between homes and other buildings and public roads.

The municipality is transferring the rules regarding access roads, which are currently included in the General Local Ordinance (APV), to the new environmental plan. This transition is policy-neutral. This means that the substance of the rules will not change. However, the municipality is adjusting the format so that the rules comply with legal requirements and digital standards. We are also updating any outdated language.
