City and Boris Bayer Reach Settlement Regarding the Ambachts- and Baljuwhuis
The municipality of Voorschoten and Boris Bayer Beheer BV have reached a settlement regarding the Ambachts- en Baljuwhuis. As a result, the preliminary injunction hearing scheduled for January 19 was canceled. The municipality regrets the media reports regarding the settlement of the sale that appeared earlier.
Upon further reflection, the municipality of Voorschoten has come to understand that, in connection with the completion of the sale of the Ambachts- en Baljuwshuis, it should have acted with greater care toward Boris Bayer Beheer BV and Mr. Boris Bayer. The municipality of Voorschoten regrets the media coverage of Boris Bayer Beheer BV that resulted from this. The impression was wrongly created that Bayer Beheer BV was unable or unwilling to fulfill the terms of the purchase agreement.
The municipality of Voorschoten and Boris Bayer Beheer BV have reached a comprehensive settlement in the ongoing legal proceedings to resolve the dispute between the parties regarding the sale of the Ambachts- en Baljuwhuis to Boris Bayer Beheer BV.
Furthermore, this press release is also intended to repair any damage that may have been caused to the reputation of Boris Bayer Beheer BV.
