Bicycle missing? You can pick up your impounded bicycle at BRL (Leiden Regional Impound) by appointment.

Why was my bike removed?

The municipality removes bicycles that are blocking the way or have been parked for too long or in the wrong place. In addition, your bicycle may have been in a state of disrepair, which violates the General Local Ordinance.

Picking Up Your Bike

You can pick up your bike at BRL by appointment. Please contact BRL to arrange this.

A valid form of identification
A matching key; or
A valid proof of purchase

Costs

You can retrieve your bicycle after paying the applicable fees. The fee is 25 euros per towed bicycle.

Please note: Payment can only be made by debit card.
