Why was my bicycle removed?

The municipality removes bicycles that are obstructing pathways, parked for too long, or parked incorrectly. Additionally, your bicycle may have been in a neglected state, which violates the General Municipal By-law.

Collecting your bicycle

You can collect your bicycle from BRL by appointment. Please contact BRL to arrange this.

Please ensure you have the following in your possession:

  • A valid proof of identity
  • A matching key; or
  • A valid proof of purchase

Costs

You can take your bicycle with you after paying the incurred costs. This is 25 euros per towed bicycle.

Please note: Payments for these costs can only be made by debit card.
