Event for a company, association or school
As a company, association, or school, you are allowed to organise a festivity a few times a year that produces significant noise. For example:
- a live music performance at a café
- a street party together with other associations
- a staff party with a band or DJ
- a school tournament
If you want to organise such a festivity, you must notify the municipality.
What to do?
You report your festivity to the municipality. Please provide the following information:
- description of activities
- date and time
- what kind of noise is being made (music, cheering, megaphone, etc.)
- at what time and place this is taking place
Submit your notification at least 2 weeks in advance.
Other licences or exemptions
Ask the municipality whether you need to apply for any other licences or exemptions. For example, a parking exemption or exemptions for serving alcohol.
