Additional Energy Allowance Payment

All residents who received the one-time 2022 energy allowance will receive an additional €500 in March. With this move, the municipality is getting a head start on the approval and payment of the 2023 energy allowance. Residents are expected to receive the money by the end of the month.

Payment for All Recipients of the 2022 Supplement

The energy allowance will also apply in 2023, but the national government is currently drafting new rules for it. Those rules will not be announced until sometime in the coming months. Any new eligible groups will have to wait for the new rules from the national government, because the municipality does not yet know what those rules will be either. Once more information is available, we will announce it on our website.

Paid out automatically

Everyone who has received the energy allowance will receive a letter from the municipality regarding this. The money will be paid out automatically. Recipients do not need to take any action. Even if you are no longer eligible for the energy allowance this year, you do not need to repay the money.
