Report an Event

You want to organize a small-scale event. This could be, for example, a street or neighborhood party, a street play day, or a neighborhood barbecue.

For a small event, you do not need a “ licence .” You only need to file a notice with the municipality. You must file the notice at least 14 days in advance.

Requirements for a small event

A notification is sufficient if your event meets the requirements listed below Requirements :

There are a maximum of 60 people present
The event will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
The event lasts no more than 1 day
No music may be played before 9:00 a.m. or after 11:00 p.m.
The noise level during the event will not exceed 75 dB(A) (which is the level of background music) and 87 dB(C) (which is the level of, for example, a busy highway)
Only small items (such as a party tent, small inflatable, bar, or booth) with an area of less than 16 m² per item may be set up
The event does not take place on the roadway, on a (moped) bike path, or in a parking lot, nor does it otherwise obstruct traffic or emergency services.
